Hot or warm weather and sun all year round. Cape Verde locals, friendly, honest, helpful. Not so many immigrants. The "Boys" can be intrusive, but not as intrusive as say in Gambia. Good safe holiday destination.

We stayed in Santa Maria which was very nice. The town itself is a little too far away from civilisation for my liking, but the beaches were fantastic.
